CYCLING
Klink Castle is located directly on the Müritz cycling trail. The Müritzrundweg is about 88 km long and leads from Klink to Waren then along the eastern shore through the Müritz National Park to Rechlin. Then continue in the southern Müritz region via Vipperow, Ludorf, Röbel back to Klink. On the way you can discover many exciting stations.special requirements for the bike does not exist because the bike circuit is relatively flat and there are almost no major climbs. At the reception we will be happy to advise you on day trips and have cycling maps ready for you. The kitchen will also be happy to put together a picnic basket for you.

WATER SPORT
Only a stone’s throw away from Klink is the surfing and sailing school with attached canoe station on the outskirts of Waren (Müritz) directly at the camper and camping park Kamerun, excellent to reach by bike or car.

GOLFING
Only a few kilometers from the Seehotel Schloss Klink you will find the golf course Flesensee with several professional courses. Use your vacation as an experienced golfer to enjoy “your” sport at the Mecklenburgische, or complete a “trial course” as a beginner.

PORT KLINK
In addition to the 130 berths for motor and sail boats, all water sports enthusiasts will find a safe place to stay here. Not far from the harbor are bathing beaches, surfing, fishing spots and a passenger ship dock. From the Klinker northwest shore of the Müritz, a boat route leads via the Müritz-Elde Canal into the Mecklenburg upper lakes. Port Klink has been renovated in 2016 in many aspects to ensure a pleasant stay.

The Müritz Farmers’ Market in Klink is a popular destination on the Mecklenburg Lake District for the whole family. MÜRITZEUM
For nature and animal lovers, a visit to the Müritzeum – the house of 1,000 lakes, on the edge of Waren’s old town is an experience not to be missed. An indescribable aquatic world of freshwater fish, various themed rooms, water birds in glass showcases, adventure cinema as well as a historical museum building from rare to extinct animals, are waiting for you. Walk through the forest and moor and learn about interesting natural events.

BEAR FOREST MÜRITZ
Twelve brown bears live in an outdoor enclosure of 16 hectares and can spend time there similar to the wild. At various stations you can learn more about the brown bears. Meanwhile, you can relax in the bistro there, take a look in the store and grab a great souvenir or let your kids run wild in the playgrounds.

SUMMER TOBOGGAN RUN AND MONKEY FOREST
A great pleasure is the 800 meters long summer toboggan run with a height difference of 30 meters, 7 steep curves and 6 chicanes. Fascinating experiences also await you in the monkey forest, which is located right next to the summer toboggan run. Free-roaming and climbing monkeys in a 1.8-hectare natural enclosure offer you very different and interesting natural spectacles.

AGRONEUM
The Agroneum, an open-air museum in Alt Schwerin, is located in the most beautiful countryside. Visitors can admire farm workers’ dwellings from 1910, 1935 and the 1960s, collections of everyday objects and technology, or the Wilhelmine village school. In addition, there are many worlds of experience to discover on the large outdoor area, such as field cultivation, livestock farming, farm technology and much more. WARES (MÜRITZ)
The picturesque town of Waren (Müritz) is located in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District. With its 22,000 inhabitants, it may not be one of the largest towns in northern Germany, but it is one of the most beautiful. Since 2012, the city has been a recognized spa.
